County TIF Information Form
The County TIF Information Form identifies key administrative activities performed by counties, including new certifications of districts, first distributions of increment, returns of tax increment, decertifications of districts, four-year rule knockdown actions, corrections of errors, annual distributions of increment, and transfers of TIF enforcement deductions.
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS / DUE DATE
This form is required under the OSA’s statutory authority to collect information from local governments. The form is generally due March 31 for activities that occurred in the prior year.
DOWNLOADING THE FORM
The County TIF Information Form must be downloaded through the State Auditor's Form Entry System (SAFES) and completed offline. Within SAFES, download the Form by going to the “Forms” tab. Once there, make sure the reporting year selected and click on the “County” tab (not the “TIF” tab) to access the Form.
