CTAS 2026 Update 2 includes feature enhancements and fixes for issues experienced in earlier versions. The enhancements and corrections are listed below, organized by CTAS module. Enhancements are denoted by three asterisks (***).

Payroll Module

Create/Update Payroll Roster

• When moving multiple employees over to the payroll roster at once, an error is received when trying to save the roster.  This issue is triggered when one or more of those employees are not participating in PFML.  Multiple employees can now be moved over to the payroll roster at once. 

Payroll Register - Portrait Version

• The portrait version of the payroll register has not been updated for PFML (Paid Family and Medical Leave).  The portrait version of the payroll register is now correct.

• The portrait version of the payroll register displays incorrect amounts for regular hours/earnings.  The portrait version of the payroll register is now correct.

Reports Module

MN Withholding Return (MW-1)

• Taxable wages are not including the additional employer contribution of PFML, if any.  The MW-1 now correctly includes the taxable portion of the employer PFML contributions, if any. 

Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) Premium Contribution Report ***

•  A new quarterly report has been added that contains the gross wages and the PFML contributions for the quarter selected.  The report is called PFML Premium Contribution and is found under the Reports tab, Payroll (Year to Date) icon.
